Beaches Pizzabeaches pizza

If you want to eat the best pizza in Manly, this is the place to go. Proper Italian pizzas, thin base and awesome variety of toppings (try the Spicy Marinated Lamb or Bermuda: Seafood Pizza with hot chili shrimps!). Laid back place with a friendly atmosphere, friendly service and a free wine tasting every 1st Tuesday of the month. Fantastic place.

Chica Bonitachica-bonita-manly

Offering the undisputed best Margaritas in town, served in jam jars. Best to get here early, there is quite a bit of waiting time if you arrive after normal dinner time. The place is tiny (which gives Chica Bonita its flair) and you can’t blame them as their Margaritas are absolutely worth a wait. The food is fantastic, the fish tacos a MUST. One of my favorite places in Manly for both drinks and food.

Coyacoya cromer

Middle eastern inspired modern Australian cuisine – almost too pretty to eat! This local gem provides a special dining experience, friendly service and amazing Arabic coffee. Enjoy one of Restaurateur Ashraf Saleh’s fusion food main plates or take a food journey with one of the degustation options (vegetarian available).

Great Italian cuisine. The food is delicious and the portions big, the staff is polite but not professional. Don’t be surprised if they mess up at least one order or serve you an entree (that you did not order) and take it away five minutes later. BUT: The Quattro Formaggi pizza is awesome.

Hugos ManlyHugos-Manly

Right on  Manly Wharf, Hugos is probably one of Sydney’s most spectacular waterfront restaurants. Relaxed Australian, urban and comfy atmosphere and simply beautiful Italian food. Try the non-alcoholic Mocktails, they are delicious! Thee service is fantastic, even when busy they are excellent and always friendly.

Ironbarkironbark manly

Italian restaurant serving traditional Italian cuisine: wood-fired pizzas, gourmet pasta dishes and tasty salads are on the menu. It is a BYO restaurant thats vegetarian, vegan and family friendly. Enjoy a rustic atmosphere and watch the pizzas coming out of the wood fired oven! The service is fast and friendly and the value for money is great as its good quality food.

Jah Barjah bar

Perfect for a Sunday arvo. Enjoy some large tapas in the lovely seating area hidden out the back. Awesome food (fish tacos, scallops, calamari and best stuffed zucchini flowers ever). Good atmosphere good service, although the waiter (owner?) seemed to be a little bit drunk when serving us and mixing up all drink orders. Definitely recommend taking a seat at the bar and watch the amazing chefs in action.

Manly Wine
Manly Wine

Chic venue, relaxed atmosphere and a spectacular beach side view. Breakfast, lunch, dinners, seafood raw bar and in-between coffee & drinks 7 days a week. Great specials at most nights of the week, don’t miss out on ‘Sexy Sashimi’ – the Tuesday special with a Sashimi platter to share $25. Also a great venue for groups and functions with set menus and a range of private and semi-private areas available for bookings.

Pocket Pizzapocket pizza manly

American Pizza Parlour Nostalgia in a cosy location in the heart of Manly (you can order take-away too). Despite the amazing vibe and atmosphere, the pizzas at Pocket Pizza are fantastic and have tasty toppings. Kale pizza is their number one, but you should also try “Prawnographic” and “Cheesus Christ”. Have some garlic-butter topped popcorn for entree, it’s amazing. Lovely staff and owner.

Roasted Graperoasted grape balgowlah

Totally worth a walk (or ride) up the hill to Balgowlah – Roasted Grape is a perfect place to enjoy a bottle of wine with some modern Australian share plates (aka tapas) in a lovely and intimate atmosphere. The food is superb, the Calamari and Prawns out of this world. Welcoming staff and friendly owner. Live Music on Thursday nights and a coffee bar in the morning.

The PantryThe Pantry Manly

Located at the end of the Corso on the promenade, The Pantry offers not only best beach views but also delicious food. The tapas servings are quite generous and the mains beautiful (and really good sizes!). Also a great spot for fresh and fantastic breakfast delights.

The Wine Room & Bar – Balgowlah RSLwine-room-balgowlah

Delicious food in a sophisticated wine bar environment. Dark leather and low lighting create a cosy atmosphere – nothing you’d expected inside an RSL! The service is great and so is the food and wine list: Tapas-style plates to share, large mains and a range of wines are sourced come from across the globe.
